“I love this book! The cover and illustrations in the books are eye catching and appropriate for children.
I especially love what a great conversation starter this book would be and a great social emotional lesson to have with the kids. I will definitely be using this book in my classroom, and I know my students will love it! ”

"I love that the books use rhyming, colorful pictures and very relatable contexts of secret sharing. It cleverly distinguishes between which secrets should be shared and not shared for kids to understand. I am a child therapist and I love the discussion questions in the back, they are simple and easy for all to use!
Excellent book, I can’t wait to add it to my “toolkit”

“It is said that we are only as sick as our darkest secrets. No Sad Secrets, is an easy to read, beautifully illustrated, sassy, rhythmic way of teaching children safe boundaries while reminding ourselves of the importance of speaking up when we are uncomfortable. It portrays the healthy family as a safe place to share both delights and distresses.
Silence is the most insidious culprit in childhood victimization. No Sad secrets reminds us to give voice to our own rescue, regardless of age or gender.
Our world needs courageous and assertive examples like the characters Jasmine and Justin as depicted by Sheryl Henry in this important work.
The interactive worksheets in the back personalizes the learning, allowing adults and children to work together to put this critical social skill into practice.”
